Twisted #53 :)

Boy I have been crazy busy lately and not blogging much, but I am scrapping :)
this weeks twisted sketch was a fun one to work with, and the twist is "acrylic" I used a small acrylic bird colored with gold alcohol inks. Be sure to head over to Twisted Sketches to get your copy of the sketch!

I haven't played with my inks in a while, gotta get those out more often!

while I was digging through my stash I found one lonely piece of grunge board....so it had to go on the page :)

Be sure to check out what all the awesomely twisted sisters did with the sketch ♥

twisted Venti♥

I can't believe that this is sketch #47 from twisted sketches......8-)
this weeks twist is "clean", since I tend to do a lot of inking, distressing and layering I decided to use the word clean to describe my style with this LO...clean and simple!
all of the papers are from the "Nook and Pantry" range from Basic Grey.
head over to twisted sketches and check out how the rest of the DT used "clean" this week and pic up your copy of the sketch to play along

Twisted Fabric

Twisted Sketch #39

Oh, I am just in love with this weeks twisted sketch! and I had so much fun with this weeks twist.....fabric. I quilted together a circle of corduroy and a circle of seersucker. The clouds are just free drawn and scraps of paper, then cut out, inked and painted with a glitter glaze. Head over to twisted sketches to pick up your copy of this great sketch.

twisted Sketches

I just love the sketch below, what an awesome inspiration .

My take on the sketch "tweet Hearts"
I didn't have just the right background page for this LO so I altered one. I started with a sheet of tan grid paper. I colored it with cherry limeade and patina glimmermists, darkened the edges with tea stain distress ink, and then splattered it with thick gesso. I love the results!

this little embellie is a swallow stamp that I stamped on cardboard with stazon ink, and then tore out. I rubbed lime stickles into the bird and gave it a tulle tail, that also has lime stickles rubbed into it
