snow
We woke up this morning to a beautiful blanket of snow
wanting to play in the snow
before the neighborhood kids came out to play
they all worked together to make a snowman,
with a few snowball fights mixed in
but try as they might to make a huge snowman,
their frozen little fingers got the best of them
so the scaled him down
just a little :)

big news
it feels like I haven't blogged in ages..........
We just got home from a trip to Southern Oregon, it was beautiful!
My DH went to canidate at a church to be their Senior Pastor, after service they voted him in { with NO no votes :) }. So at the end of February we will be packing up and moving.
The pastor that called us down there is renting us the second house on his property (43 acers) it comes wth a coop full of chickens and a veggie garden, there are also about 20 horses grazing on the pasture (for less than half of what we are paying now). My kids are in Heaven about moving to the country, and I am really excited that this little bitty town has a scrapbook store!!!!
I will update in a few weeks with some pics of the area

scripture challenge
This was the first week of the http://www.triplethescraps.blogspot.com/ scripture challenge
This weeks challenge was the word faith. Patter suggested reading Hebrews 11, the great faith chapter. Well, we are considering a move to a different state for my dh to take a Preaching job.
This state is one we always said, "we will NEVER move there"............don't ever say never to God! We of course have great reasons for not wanting to live in this state, but forgot one really important thing.....God's reasons are divine. So when reading Hebrews 11 one set of verses really struck me, I need to trust in God's providence and provison for my Familiy!
8 It was by faith that Abraham obeyed when God called him to leave home and go to another land that God would give him as his inheritance. He went without knowing where he was going. 9 And even when he reached the land God promised him, he lived there by faith—for he was like a foreigner, living in tents. And so did Isaac and Jacob, who inherited the same promise. 10 Abraham was confidently looking forward to a city with eternal foundations, a city designed and built by God. Hebrews 11:8-11
too "mask" fun
Last month while at a friends house the kids had a ball playing with these crazy masks
And my friend had tons of fun take pics of them being silly
I started with Heidi swap ghost letters, outlined them on the back side with gold glitter glue
and then stitched them on the page with red floss
