twisted Sketches

I just love the sketch below, what an awesome inspiration .

My take on the sketch "tweet Hearts"
I didn't have just the right background page for this LO so I altered one. I started with a sheet of tan grid paper. I colored it with cherry limeade and patina glimmermists, darkened the edges with tea stain distress ink, and then splattered it with thick gesso. I love the results!

this little embellie is a swallow stamp that I stamped on cardboard with stazon ink, and then tore out. I rubbed lime stickles into the bird and gave it a tulle tail, that also has lime stickles rubbed into it

Hello Cherry Limeade? How cool are you? This is a great page and the background really makes it all coordinated. Great job! Thanks for playing along!

So clever, Teresa!! I have a friend who uses unsweetened Kool-Aid to dye things - yours turned out fabulous!! Love the paint splatter and how you created the perfect color! And it probably smells good, too, ;)

Thanks for playing along with us at The Next Step this month!
