Just joined a new challenge site on Livejournal

This their first challenge, so the theme is "brand new"

I made a 6x6 clear mini album out of a hambly 12x12 clearly heavy overlay

I have been hanging on to this awesome piece of plastic since January and finally decided to use it >:o)

The album highlights a few "new" things for our family

I just love this pic of my son, he stopped in the middle of devouring deviled eggs to smile for the camera >:o)

its kinda a crazy mix of PP, but I love the way it turned out

The other woman

My hubby has finally found the perfect girl friend.....

I haven't scrapped since we moved, so today when I got the chance I went scrap crazy!!!

this LO was done with the purse below as inspiration

OMGosh

I can't believe how long it took me to get back online after moving!!!

we were on a waiting list for DSL for a month.

But, even though I had Internet withdraws, it gave us time to really get settled in our new home :)

I have been way to busy packing to blog this last few weeks

I have finally finish.... as soon as I am done here, I will unhook the PC and close up my last box

the blog gives awesome inspirations pics to use

I have been playing around with my glassy accents a lot lately

I needed green letters, so I made them

the black CB letters were covered with glue and green micro fine glitter

and then coated with glassy accents.

they are really pretty in person, and there is no way that they glitter is coming off all over the rest of the page :)

haircuts

Taylor and Lizzie got gift certificates in their Christmas stockings to get haircuts, well we finally got them done this weekend....

this picture of Taylor just floors me!

Her new do makes her look so much older and so different

its amazing how much getting bangs changes your face

I love Lizzie's bob, it fits her personality so well, its so cute and sassy

I really enjoy taking the girls for haircuts, it makes them so happy to "get pretty" as they call it

An altered canvas

well, both scrapping and blogging have been pushed aside while I have been busy packing.

but last night I got a chance to make two altered canvas'. I can only post one of them, its a gift for my husbands new office when we move, the other I will post after my friend gets it in the mail
